Following its Gold Rating from EcoVadis in November 2024, Phihong celebrates yet another achievement! The company has been honored with the Gold Award for Sustainability Reports at the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA) for the third consecutive year. Phihong stood out among 622 participating enterprises, earning the top honor in the Electronic Information Manufacturing category for its comprehensive ESG disclosure, high credibility, and effective communication. This recognition reaffirms Phihong’s role as a benchmark for corporate social responsibility.
Phihong continues to expand its carbon inventory scope and deepen carbon reduction initiatives, setting a target of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. The company also aligns with international standards, including the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), SASB, and TCFD. Looking ahead, Phihong plans to implement the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) framework by 2025, assessing and disclosing risks, impacts, and dependencies related to nature. This initiative aims to identify potential risks to biodiversity stemming from operations and take proactive measures for mitigation, moving from carbon management to nature preservation.
The TCSA, now in its 17th year, has attracted a total of 882 participating enterprises since its inception. In 2024, the number of entries grew by 18% compared to 2023, setting a new record. The total revenue of participating companies accounted for more than 55% of Taiwan’s GDP in 2023, underscoring the growing importance of sustainability in corporate operations.
